Some time ago mobile sites were the thing to have running along side your main website. Now there is a new breed of web design called “Responsive Design”.
Responsive web design is the modern way of designing and coding websites to work on all devices from a large monitor or TV right down to your flashy new smartphone. With the constant flow of new technologies like iphones and Android devices that are flooding the market at some point the way websites were designed and built had to change.
With new advancements in web development the exciting new way of building websites is just beginning to start. Responsive means that a website will change itself based on the device you are viewing it on. The whole website re-sizes and re-stacks itself so that the navigation, images and text look great even on the small screens on smartphones we use every day.
Even Barack Obama has his website built-in a responsive structure. Another celebrity who has a fantastic responsive website is the golfer Rory Mcilroy. His site uses masses of new technology including responsive design to promote the world-class golfer.
